The same work, already running in other firms

Atlantic Labs has not yet run a project inside an accounting practice. The same setup already runs in wealth management, law, marketing, recruiting and events, and each part matches a job an accounting firm does every week.

Reading documents without retyping

At Strategic Wealth Partners, a wealth advisory firm, client statements from three custodians in three layouts are read, sorted and reconciled to the total printed on the page. When the figures do not tie out, the run stops. Invoices, receipts and bank statements are the same problem.

Client reporting on a fixed template

At Method Revenue, a marketing agency, the founder’s reporting time is cut in half. Each report is built from their systems into their own file, and it stops when a figure cannot be proved.

Intake that fills the document

At Free Will Lawyer, an estate planning firm, a client answers a short form and the finished document generates from the firm's own template. A client onboarding pack works the same way.

What that looks like in an accounting practice

Automated document processing

Invoices, receipts and statements read where they sit, with the totals checked before anything is used.

Client reporting and month end packets, built from your ledger into your own template.

Client intake and onboarding forms

that fill the engagement letter rather than a spreadsheet.

Drafted client email replies, written from your own files, checked by a person before sending.

A knowledge base

over your policies, checklists and prior year files.

Works with the tools you already use

QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Plaid, Gusto, Dropbox, SharePoint, Google Drive, Microsoft 365 and Gmail. Where your accounting workflow software has an interface, Atlantic Labs connects to it. Where it does not, that is said up front rather than promised.

Questions

  1. You have not worked with an accounting firm yet.

Correct, and better said plainly. The reading, checking and reporting are the same jobs already running elsewhere.

  2. Do client documents leave the firm’s systems?

No. The work runs in the firm’s own Claude account, and documents are read where they are already stored.

  3. Who checks the numbers?

A person, every time, and a figure that cannot be traced back stops the run.

  4. Where would it start?

Whichever job gets retyped most, usually document intake or the month end packet.
